About the escape room
The Belfry of Aalst is inextricably linked to the life story of the notorious criminal and gang leader Jan de Lichte. He lived in the first half of the 18th century and committed various thefts, robberies, and murders with his gang. You will be dropped in 1748 at the height of the large manhunt for gang leaders in Belgium. Jan De Lichte was sentenced to breaking wheel. The anger was so great that everyone in the Land of Aalst was on his track. The challenge for the participants is to find him first, arrest him, and lock him in the cell in the Belfry. In this medieval and dark context, you have 60 minutes to find and arrest Jan de Lichte. Good luck!
