WeaknessesThe Shibuya zone is stunning but short and feels not fully utilized. The transition to later areas is less impressive and the storyline loses some of the Japan theme. Here and there unclear flow, technical glitches, and a somewhat businesslike operation with tight time slots.
StrengthsHuge, finely finished spaces with real wow moments. Nice variety of puzzle types and at least one clever, visually fresh puzzle. Good flow once you get into the rhythm, and overall a lot of fun.
SecurityLarge spaces with quite a bit of back-and-forth running; briefing and supervision are in place. When issues occur, staff intervene quickly, and the tight time slots keep things orderly.
Level of fearNot really scary; more adventurous and high-energy. Suitable for families with older kids and for those who don't want horror.
Actors' gameHosts play along in theme and deliver a smooth start, but some groups missed depth in the role. The welcome and introduction are, for others, seen as top-notch and atmosphere-setting.
Quality of riddlesMix of classic puzzling and arcade-like mini-games; more on feel than on pure logic. Flow is uneven, but there are strong story-driven moments and one strikingly visual tech puzzle. Tech can stutter at times; resets usually fix it.
PlotYou infiltrate an abandoned 1980s research facility to neutralize a deadly virus. The Japanese street set quickly gives way to a high-tech lab with a guarding AI system.
Difficulty levelMedium-hard, with spikes in tempo and coordination. Duos stay busy; fans of pure logic may find it less satisfying, while players who enjoy games will have a great time.
