The hotel, located in the region of Geel, dates back to 1950 and was founded by Rita and Tijl Jacobs. In the decades since, their hotel has grown into a four-star hotel. The hotel had become so famous that guests kept coming. Tijl passed away in 1980 and a year later around September 18, Rita suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth. Andre, the son of Rita and Tijl, managed to keep the doors open until the late 1990s. Since Rita's disappearance, the guests have stayed away. They complained that they heard banging and ghost sounds. Andre then had to close the hotel for guests. He decided to hire a janitor for maintenance. Since the closure, the concierge has occasionally opened the doors to guests. Would Rita and Tijl still haunt their hotel? Or is there something else going on?
