With stops in Paris, Lausanne, Milan, Venice, Belgrade, Sofia and Istanbul, the Thorndike Express is the ultimate means for the beau monde to travel across the vast plains in luxury and style. Also on board is Jasper Bromley, ready for his first shift as the new night guard. Unfortunately it will remain with that first trip because the next morning Jasper is found dead at his post.
